hello!
MY YOGA JOURNEY began in 1999, which eventually led to my first teacher training. I needed to know why I was able to heal my back, get a grip on my stress, and learn to make wise choices in every part of my life. Since then, I’ve studied thousands of hours, trained hundreds of teachers, and witnessed 20+ years of life-changing moments on the mat.
RANDOM THINGS about me: I taught myself to play harmonium after studying sound healing with global spirit artist Suzanne Sterling. My Sanskrit is pretty good, I have to say! I could not do any type of backbend when I first started yoga; now, I love and value them dearly. My mantra and pranayama practices saved me during the pandemic. I use props for every single practice - it’s not about needing them, but using them creatively to explore… everything.
STYLES
These days, I offer my own fusion of devotional (bhakti) flow, lyrical movement, wise sequencing, well-being, and restoration based on studies, life experience, and so much learning. I use playlists very intentionally, and they’re always good - diverse artists, aligned with sound healing principles, and intertwined appropriately with class themes.

OFF THE MAT
I’m a Sr. Communications Strategist at Microsoft, where I am able to infuse yoga concepts into corporate things (it’s true)!
Recently, I was a faculty member and Senior Content Producer at Esalen Institute in Big Sur. I created their mission-driven social media talk show, Esalen Live! and was the chief editor for their blog.
